Lately, I have been accused in comment sections of being anti-state, simply because I see how the European Union is usurping our sovereignty and our people as a whole. Incidentally, this kind of public sentiment is not new at all.
As I am currently in contact with people who were directly involved in the process of restoring the Republic of Estonia, they tell me that the exact same situation existed when the Soviet Union was collapsing. There were people who tried to influence the founders of the new state, insisting that Estonia was in the safest and most secure position precisely within the Soviet Union. And that you traitors should be put on trial or sent to Siberia!
Most of those voices, once they realized that the process could no longer be stopped, turned their red coats inside out and overnight became blue-black-white patriots.
This raises the question: when will today’s neo-Marxists and Soros-fascists change their coats?
At the same time, it is crucial to ensure that such opportunistic turncoats do not hijack the ideas of principled people who genuinely wish to restore true sovereignty. Otherwise, we will simply end up with Republic of Estonia 3.0 — where the same “communists” continue robbing the people, only dressed in different uniforms.
