Mario Maripuu: The Armed Force of the People or an Instrument of the State?

The Kaitseliit (Estonian Defence League), which was created at the initiative of Kalle Eller and was originally a people’s self-organized armed organization, has today become a voluntary national defence organization in Estonia that falls under the administration of the Ministry of Defence and supports the defence of the Estonian state.

Today I would like to ask: why could the Kaitseliit not have remained the kind of organization it once was? Why was it necessary to take it, so to speak, out of the hands of the PEOPLE and attach it to the state? Many explain this by saying that the people did not have the finances to maintain such an organization in that form, and that the state itself had no interest in funding it on that scale. Having been involved with the Kaitseliit myself since 2002 and having seen over the years where the processes have developed, it is quite clear to me where things were being steered.

It is just as clear as understanding why, for example, the Jääger Company was forcibly dissolved. In that same way, the state’s so-called “hijacking” of the Kaitseliit becomes completely understandable. The Kaitseliit as such an organization would have been dangerous for today’s authorities, just as the Jäägers were. If the state controls everything, then it does not really matter who governs the country, because the people have been disarmed and made toothless – who would then be able to restore a hijacked constitutional order, even with weapons if necessary?

Today, when 80% of laws come from the European Union and the Constitution of the Republic of Estonia is interpreted in ways that suit those in power – and sometimes simply ignored – such a situation could never have arisen in the 1990s with the Jääger Company and the Kaitseliit of that time in existence. By now, the people would already have carried out a military coup in the country!

Today, when the Government of the Republic of Estonia has not actually been elected through a democratic process but thanks to election fraud and the use of electronic voting, they use the state and its defence structures as tools to play out external globalist interests. Even worse – they are dragging us into war through national defence.

This is proven both by the words of Tsahkna and Pevkur, who have stated that Estonia is ready to host nuclear weapons on its territory, and by the fact that Ilmar Raag, known as the money courier of Lehtme, uses the Kaitseliit to manufacture drone bombs for Ukraine. This is a pure Estonian provocation toward Russia, giving them justification to act militarily as well. In this context, the Kaitseliit is no longer fulfilling the task of defending Estonia, but is instead carrying out a completely different military role.

And the worst part is that the people have been made to believe that by doing this they are defending Estonia and that this is the task of the Kaitseliit. Today, when military conflict is taking place in Iran and in several other regions, is the Kaitseliit doing the same there? Of course not!

At the moment there is an ideological antagonism in the country. This means that there is an irreconcilable confrontation between left-wing and right-wing ideology. If war were to break out and today’s liberals remained in power, it would mean that all national forces and organizations would have to be liquidated because they threaten the globalist liberal state order and “democracy”, and this would be carried out by those same state defence structures they control.

On the other hand, if somehow the current ruling order were overthrown and conservatives came to power, it would mean the end of all the absurdities that currently prevail in Estonia. It would also mean that the heads of all current state structures who serve globalist interests would be removed and replaced by right-wing forces in order to prevent the horror toward which we are currently being steered.

Difficult times lie ahead, but one thing is clear – things cannot continue like this.
