L.A. County land grabbing fears ignite: “They turn Altadena into one of the great apartment complexes”

Fears of land grabbing have erupted in the fire-ravaged areas of Los Angeles County as local and state officials have already begun discussing “LA 2.0” plans. One user of X commented“Tell me it was a planned demolition without telling me it was a planned demolition.”

“They turn Altadena into one of the giant apartment complexes,” X user Bay Area State OF Mind said, citing local officials who want to change zoning in the Altadena area from a single-family home to a multifamily home. In other words, some officials want to start building apartment buildings and so-called smart cities.

Altadena (and other areas of L.A. County) could serve as proof of concept for how the Democratic Party turns single-family homes into apartment buildings in a world where citizens own nothing and are happy.

The cause of the fire is currently undetermined. However, the rapid spread was caused by large gusts of wind, and “Incompetence at the limit is indistinguishable from sabotage,” Elon Musk wrote in X.

The issue of sabotage is the main theme of X, mainly because the main reservoir of Palisades, which would probably have suppressed in the early days of the fire, was completely emptied.

On Monday, Palisades homeowners sued the Los Angeles City Electric and Water Company for not supplying firefighters with enough water. The plaintiffs allege that the reservoir in the area was emptied, causing low pressure in the fire hydrants.

As of Thursday morning, the Palisades and Eaton fires continue to rage, leaving dozens killed (and counted), ten plus thousand structures destroyed, thousands of households displaced and entire communities leveled off. Meanwhile, Democrats are already pushing the conversation to redesign some areas to accommodate high-density communist-style apartment buildings.

As one X user noted, “Tell me it was a planned demolition without telling me it was a planned demolition.”

All just before the 2028 L.A. Olympics… Makes you wonder.
