BREAKING: Trump: “Great military success”: Iran’s nuclear facilities have been completely destroyed due to “bullying”

0

President Trump addressed the nation at 10:00 PM ET and said that Iran’s nuclear facilities had been “completely and totally destroyed” with “massive precision strikes” and that a “great military success” had been achieved.

He warned Iran (the “Middle East bully”) that if they did not achieve peace, there would be many other targets:

“If peace does not come quickly,” we will attack the rest of the people “with speed and skill.”

He ended his speech with the words: “God bless Israel and God bless the United States of America.”

Update (9:33 p.m. ET):

Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin revealed that the B-2 bombers seen heading toward Guam were part of a calculated deception to draw attention to the West:

“It is remarkable how much deception was used in this operation. All eyes were turned west towards Guam.”

“30,000 pounds of bunker busting bombs were dropped on Fordow. And as we have reported, Fordow has two entrances.”

“At least two bombs on each side, two entrances, which suggests that there were at least two B-2 fighters over Fordow. My suspicion is that there were more.”

Sean Hannity revealed that he spoke directly with President Trump, who confirmed the scope of the US attack on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility:

  • Several B-2 stealth bombers dropped six “bunker buster” bombs.
  • Thirty Tomahawk cruise missiles were launched from US submarines about 400 miles away.

Hannity added: “Everything is out of danger right now.”

Update (8:05 PM ET):

Hours after US Air Force B-2 Spirit stealth bombers departed Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri en route to the Indo-Pacific, President Trump announced that US forces had “successfully attacked” three nuclear sites in Iran – Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan.

The president wrote in his publication Truth Social:

We have completed our highly successful attack on three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All aircraft are now outside Iranian airspace.

A full load of bombs were dropped on the main scene at Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home.

Congratulations to our great American warriors. There is no other military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this issue.

President Trump has not confirmed which U.S. Air Force bombers carried out the strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, but based on the timing and strategic capabilities, it is plausible that the operation involved B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, which were previously seen departing from Whiteman Air Force Base.

Operational details are still scarce ahead of President Trump’s scheduled address to the nation at 10:00 PM EST.

Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY), who recently introduced a bipartisan war powers resolution aimed at prohibiting “unauthorized U.S. military hostilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” sharply criticized the Trump administration after the airstrikes.

Posting on X, Massie wrote: “This is not unconstitutional.”

Polymarket is betting… There will be no leaks this time.

The U.S. military is now telling troops that an attack on Iran “will likely result in counterattacks on U.S. bases and facilities” in the Middle East and “will likely activate Iranian and other foreign terrorist organizations cells abroad, including the United States, to carry out attacks against U.S. individuals and facilities,” according to a briefing I received, reporter Ken Klippenstein wrote for X.

Threats to the US homeland:

Ah yes, war programs in US films…

As the Israeli-Iranian conflict approaches its ninth day, President Trump has publicly stated that he will wait two weeks before deciding whether to authorize U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. In parallel, the U.S. Air Force is redeploying B-2 Spirit stealth bombers to their previous operating bases in the Indo-Pacific region—possibly Andersen Air Force Base in Guam or Diego Garcia in the Chagos Archipelago—in a deliberate show of force and strategic signal of U.S. readiness for multi-theater operations.

Fox News confirmed that six B-2 stealth bombers have taken off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, likely to be deployed to Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.

Plus air tankers.

There is no official confirmation of the current deployment of the stealth bombers or their final destination. The US Air Force has for months stationed the nuclear-capable bombers at Diego Garcia (within range of Iran) – often referred to as America’s “unsinkable aircraft carrier” – which is located between Africa and Indonesia, about 1,600 kilometres south of India.

“President Donald Trump, who has said he will make a decision on U.S. involvement in the Israeli-Iranian conflict, is expected to return to the White House on Saturday afternoon. The president is expected to receive intelligence briefings with the National Security Council on Saturday and Sunday, considering possible steps against Iran,” Fox News noted.

The island provides strategic access for stealth bombers to the Middle East, Central and South Asia, and across the Indian Ocean.

Previous performance of B-2s in Diego Garcia:

The deployment of B-2 bombers to Guam or Diego Garcia sends a clear signal of deterrence to adversaries, whether Iran in the Middle East or China and North Korea in Asia. The mere presence of these stealth bombers can be both preventive and psychological.

More troop deployments: This week, the U.S. Air Force redeployed additional fighter jets and aerial tankers to key regional bases in Europe, coinciding with Israel’s Operation Rising Lion targeting Iranian assets. The moves come amid growing speculation that President Trump could authorize direct U.S. military intervention within the next two weeks if Tehran fails to reach a deal with the United States.
