America has brutally and recklessly hijacked Venezuela’s power along with its natural resources, openly, before the eyes of the entire world. It did what it wanted and took what it wanted, from wherever it wanted. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the world reacts to this. The international order has totally collapsed, as the USA has demonstrated that agreements and laws between states no longer apply.
With the attack on Venezuela, the USA has lost any right to complain about how Russia and China conduct affairs in their own regions.
In reality, China is technologically far ahead of America, and Russia is militarily the most powerful. If China wants, it can with a single signature put the brakes on the entire U.S. military industry and AI development, if it decides that the USA will no longer receive chips. Russia now also has free hands to launch its powerful bombs wherever needed, without the USA having any say.
In any case, Pandora’s box has been blown open, and we should hold on to our hats and glasses, because violence, brutality, and lawlessness are the new “normal.”
At the moment it seems that Venezuela allowed itself to be trampled without any resistance, but perhaps this is only temporary. It is not impossible that an unexpected counterattack will be launched to destroy the U.S. fleet floating near Venezuela’s coast. In fact, the U.S. fleet is a very easy target considering modern new weapons. We do not know whether Russia and China have supplied Venezuela with new military technology.
U.S. domestic political tensions will also only intensify, as Democrats are handed the cards before the midterm elections to bring Trump down.
If Trump now also starts bombing Iran again, in reality the USA will only expose its military and economic weakness and further strain its internal political situation.
The USA is well known for its initial show of brute force, but in the end it has always ended up getting beaten from all sides.
