Ülle Pukk: Last night, I dreamed of Estonia—so tender yet strong, and guided by the grace of God.

Opinion

The streets were clean and brightly lit, both in summer and winter. In summer, the grass was lush green, and the meadows dazzled with blooming, colorful flowers. In winter, the snow was pure white and radiant, and between the drifts wandered cheerful people with red noses and happy faces.

Everywhere flew the blue, black, and white Estonian flags, and most people lived in countryside homes. They ate clean food and drank pure water. The cities were small, safe, and cozy, where bright green, quietly humming buses carried everyone who needed a ride. There were no cars in the cities, only buses and bicycles.

People were joyful and helpful, enjoying working and creating together. Work was not a burden but a creative pleasure, as everyone felt needed and contributed something valuable. There was no money as such, yet we had everything we needed.

On weekends, everyone went to the sauna, sang, and danced happily because the air they breathed was clean and filled with intoxicating love.

A protective mist surrounded all of Estonia, shielding our little paradise from the world’s evils and diseases.

Only those with pure hearts and who knew the secret words could find their way through the thick and suffocating fog into the paradise. That was the dream I had.
