This letter has been handed over to President Donald Trump on 24 November 2024
The Honorable Mr. Donald J. Trump, President-Elect of the United States of America
Dear Trump /Vance team, First, I want to congratulate you on your recent electoral victory, a significant event that will undoubtedly shape the future of our world.
It will also bring changes to Estonia, as the US Embassy has played a significant role in our politics and economy. However, lately, US ambassadors in Estonia have been promoting a liberal Marxist, LGBTQ+, and “green” agenda, which, in our view, has led to corruption and the erosion of traditional family values.
Please consider appointing a future US ambassador who will value our independence and uphold the sanctity of traditional family values. We believe these are crucial to our survival and freedom as a nation.
Estonian politics is rife with corruption, rooted in the country’s post-Soviet independence when former communists and KGB operatives took over. This situation has underscored the urgent need for increased trust in our government.
With its large phosphorite reserves, Estonia faced a significant protest mining in the late 1980s. This decisive collective action, driven by a shared concern for the environment, successfully delayed the exploitation of these reserves. However, there is a growing fear that the Government may secretly plan to restart mining in 2024, which could pose a severe risk to environmental safety.
In 2017, the Estonian parliament quietly agreed to allow the US to build military bases in Nursipalu Village, a protected area with endangered species near the Russian border. This decision has displaced local farmers and harmed the environment, raising serious concerns among the residents who have been directly affected.
The Reform Party, under the leadership of Siim Kallas and now Kaja Kallas, has strongly advocated a liberal and LGBTQ+ agenda. This has resulted in significant policy changes, particularly in family benefits.
Our NGO, Conservative Estonia, is fighting against Internet elections. What communist Siim Kallas (Kaja Kallas’s father) brought from Venezuela to Estonia in 2004 and what is illegal and unadaptable by our constitution. 2023, in the Estonian Parliament elections, the Estonian Government interfered with results by manipulating internet voting, and our NGO is taking this to the EU Human Rights Court.
Regards,
Mike Calamus
President of
NGO Conservative Estonia
