The progressive nuclear power is wobbling so wildly now that it’s only a matter of time before everything spins out of control. When the pace picks up, illusions will start to shatter – from any notion of “defense readiness” to the business project known as NATO.
If things get really heated in the end, the Estonian people truly have no reason to complain. Life has shown that about 70% of people have wished for all of this – living passionately alongside the war, cheering, hoisting flags, and applauding in every possible way.
This is the reality. If Estonia is thrown back into the Stone Age and ration cards become the only means of survival, maybe then people will finally start thinking. I sincerely hope that moment comes.
For almost three years, I’ve been saying: you reap what you sow. And we’ve sown plenty. Now the only question left is – who will do the reaping? Let that be for each person to decide.
By the end of the year, Estonia might have only pensioners, a handful of strong-willed individuals, and, of course, wide-eyed warriors left. I hope I’m terribly wrong, but the prospects for “Estonia” seem to be heading toward a final act that is already “enjoyable” to watch today.
At the same time, perhaps, in the bigger picture, all of this is necessary. So, everything is great!
