As an amateur writer, I was given the “Kaur Kender treatment.” By quoting my historical perspective on Russian people and connecting it to me, I was turned into a Putinist and a denier of the Soviet occupation. Kaur Kender was similarly labeled as a pedophile.
My quoted statement, read aloud by Martin Laine and Kaili Malts on the March 6 podcast “Valeinfo: Paljastatud!”:
“In 1944, the Soviet Union fulfilled the agreement made in 1939 to protect Estonians and militarily expelled Nazi Germany from the land.”
Laine and Malts agreed that I am a Putinist and deny the Soviet occupation of Estonia.
But I argue: do they not know history, or are they banking on the ignorance of the Estonian people?
By mocking and accusing me, Martin Laine and Kaili Malts are effectively endorsing the Nazi occupation of Estonia as legitimate Estonian statehood and, consequently, justifying the killing of Jews in Estonia.
In summary:
I do not justify the crimes of the Soviet Union in Estonia, but neither can we turn a blind eye to the crimes of Nazi Germany, seeing only the Soviet Union as the villain.
Also, why did Martin Laine omit the conclusion of my writing, which explains the entire context and purpose of the text?
“If we regard the June Coup of 1940 as the beginning of the Soviet occupation of the then Republic of Estonia, how should we view the electoral fraud of March 5, 2023, where the European Union’s puppet government, led by Kaja Kallas, took power? Can we, in this context, consider ourselves once again occupied or annexed?”
