Since the public has the right to receive accurate information about the current state of ammunition procurement, I will explain below, factually and precisely, how we have implemented the government’s decisions.
// Your words, Comrade Pevkur.
The public, Comrade Pevkur, has the right to receive accurate information about absolutely everything happening in our country because the public is your constitutional employer. Yet, you treat the public as slave owners treat their slaves. But you, the legal successors of the EKP (Estonian Communist Party), classify the most interesting topics—those that would expose your anti-Estonian activities—for 75 years. With this move, you reveal your true attitude toward the public.
This fact alone turns your statement that the public has the right to accurate information into a populist and misleading slogan. But honestly, from EKP members, one can’t expect anything more than shouting slogans…
Let me state my own view, which I believe is shared by the majority of my compatriots: Until you used the KAPO and the prosecutor’s office to bring down Ratas’ government and seize power, I had a fair amount of respect for the Reform Party. But from that moment on—seeing how you have cemented your power at all costs, canceled those who criticize you, lied, lied, lied, and lied (K. Kallas even admitted on camera that if you hadn’t lied before the last elections, you wouldn’t have come to power)—you have finally reached your limit. Personally, I, and likely a large portion of the Estonian people, do not believe a single word you say!
People do not trust you—do you find that so hard to understand? If you don’t believe me, then let’s hold emergency elections. Vox Populi, Vox Deus. But you won’t do that because your lust for power and greed have stripped you of any last shred of honor and shame—there’s no point even mentioning dignity.
One more question for you—why is it that among the people, the saying goes:
In every country, there is a mafia, but in our country, the mafia has its own state?
