Instead of the Minister of Justice, the Riigikogu will take on the task of amending the presidential election procedure.

When a self-elected group agrees among themselves which “raccoon” would be the most obedient, that’s not an election by any stretch of the imagination. That’s a deal.

The whole pitiful flea circus of making serious faces and pretending to demonstrate the functioning of a state and democracy is utterly ridiculous. A random amateur theater group from some remote village would probably put on a more convincing performance.

At the same time…
It’s somewhat amusing to watch the final act of this idiocy, where the nomenklatura clumsily tries to prove their own legitimacy and credibility. And clumsily, because they simply lack the intellectual capacity for anything better.

…but that doesn’t stop them or hold them back…
