INTERVIEW | Commander of the Defense Forces Andrus Merilo: Unfortunately, I’m Unlikely to Bring Good News in the Near Future

“The Commander of the Defense Forces, Major General Andrus Merilo, said in an interview with Delfi that the Estonian people have given him the order and directive to prepare for winning the next possible war, and this is being done diligently, both independently and with allies.”
😶

Hey… Estonian people!
When did you give Merilo such an order?
And how?
Why do you even want to go to war?
And with whom? Russia? Do you really want to win that war?

Where did this come from? Canned bear meat and strong mushrooms?
In my opinion, this talk reeks of death.

For two years now, we’ve been hearing these victorious tales like “Russia is running out of missiles any moment now” and “Russia is using WWII-era equipment in Ukraine.” If the entire so-called “free West” with its modern equipment hasn’t managed to defeat missile-depleted Russia yet, is Merilo now going to do it with his allies?

I don’t know…
Around here, thinking seems to be quite an exotic activity, and understanding things has apparently ceased to exist for some time.

But otherwise, everything is still fine… and it’s about to get even better!
