It’s clear that new faces have been activated (of course, for money), assigned to shape public opinion. We saw exactly the same scenario during the “beer virus” era…
Now, singer Koit Toome has stepped onto the stage, explaining to his fans – whom he himself calls “sheep” – that the war must continue and that Ukraine must be supported “until victory” without hesitation… Supporting what?.. Supporting WAR…
Meanwhile, if you look at Ukrainian channels where the people are demanding peace, and show them this post, they would probably want to have a serious conversation with Koit – or simply ask: “Man, what are you even talking about?”If you want war, go yourself, but don’t incite others to keep it going.
The crowd whipped up by Delfi and AK – especially the elite, who are still holding their flag high – is the most dangerous element in the coming agony.
Koit probably doesn’t realize that what he saw yesterday wasn’t diplomacy, but a farce orchestrated by Z. He most likely has no clue what real high-level diplomacy looks like and how it actually works.
Our politicians lack any diplomatic competence whatsoever. So, it’s naïve to assume that what they call diplomacy today is actually quality diplomacy…
I strongly suggest that Koit take a serious moment to reflect on what he is doing and what the consequences might be.
Soon enough, we can expect Linna, the Discus Thrower, and actors to jump on stage as well, demanding that Estonian men be sent to war…
Yet another complete disappointment.
