In Estonia, the mass culling of pigs is once again underway, officially as “disease control”, but in reality it is a state-established business model.
And now it turns out that the main beneficiary of this bloodshed is our Minister of Rural Affairs, Henrik Johannes Terras!
AS VIREEN – a company that collects, transports and destroys slaughtered pigs is 100% owned by the Estonian state and is directly managed by the Minister of Rural Affairs. The register shows that Minister Henrik Johannes Terras himself is listed as the beneficial owner, along with the members of the board appointed by him.
Every dead pig means money from the state treasury for Vireen, every new outbreak = new income.
This is no longer just about fighting an animal disease. This is a conflict of interest in its most blatant form: a minister who is supposed to protect our farmers is running a company whose profits grow every time farms are emptied.
Addition:
I won’t comment publicly because I haven’t been able to figure out all these connections, but it seems suspicious that the same names are going around everywhere. For example, Triin Kõrgmaa. Member of the Vireen council. At the same time, she is the Undersecretary for Food Safety at the Ministry of Regional Development and Agriculture. She previously worked at HKScan. The current owners of the farm are also former managers of HKScan. There may not be any connection here, but it seems strangely suspicious that the same names are everywhere.
My, Elvis Brauer’s, thoughts on this. It’s not quite as simple as described above, but it raises a lot of questions.
Conflicts of interest exist in any case. Probably several. The mechanism for transferring money from the public treasury. It is difficult to guess what the actual sequence and scheme of the movement of money is, but there are many ways to “transfer” taxpayer money. Terras is only one name here. What hidden fees and through which persons and subcontractors are paid, is currently unknown. All this needs to be investigated. What are the fees of council members and all sorts of other people in strange positions in PTA and AS Vireen?
Why doesn’t the owner take a stand or come out in the picture? Why do different board members act differently? One talks to the people and thanks them for their support, but the other allegedly tells them to make room for the bucket. The owner’s good business partner, Kadri Simson’s partner. There have been scandals with his financial allocations as a minister before, and the same men and companies were involved.
Anyway, very interesting…who is who and who is who?
One thing is for sure. The public smells fraud and sees the bigger picture regarding the transfer of taxpayer money and the promotion of Agenda 2030 in terms of the elimination/pricing of animal foods. The name of the game is still the same – Monopoly.
