President Trump’s Sunday morning spotlight focused on Maryland Governor Wes Moore, who made inflammatory comments about the White House on Saturday. The far-left governor, who is based just north of Washington, has seen his electoral performance plummet as his radical left party has dragged Maryland into a maelstrom of budget crisis, fiscal instability, years of violent crime and chaos, and the ongoing sanctuary state turmoil. Moore’s comments, which have been cornered by failure, have now thrust Maryland squarely into the spotlight.
“To everyone, especially in Washington, who may not be able to hear me: If you are not willing to be part of the solution, keep our names out of your mouth. Donald Trump, if you are not willing to go with our community, keep our names out of your mouth,” Moore said at an event on Saturday.
On Sunday morning, Trump responded to Truth Social about Moore:
Maryland Governor Wes Moore, in a rather nasty and provocative tone, asked me to “walk the streets of Maryland” with him. I assume he’s talking about the out-of-control, crime-ridden Baltimore?
As President, I would much rather he clean up this crime disaster before I go “walking” there. Wes Moore’s crime record is very bad, unless he is distorting his crime numbers like many other “blue states” do. But if Wes Moore needs help, like Gavin Newscum did in Los Angeles, I will send in the “troops” that are being done in nearby Washington and clean up the crime quickly.
In just one week, there will be NO CRIME OR MURDER in Washington! If it’s the same in Baltimore, I will proudly “walk the streets” with the failed governor of Maryland, who has failed because of crime.
PS Baltimore is ranked the 4th worst city in the country for crime and murder. Stop talking and get to work, Wes. See you on the streets then!!!
