Ülle Pukk: To those who still believe in Ukraine’s victory, I would like to ask: please explain, HOW do you think this victory will be achieved?

Opinion

Wishful thinking, like “Ukraine must win,” is not a sufficient argument but rather an irrational fantasy. A lack of sense of reality and living in fabricated hallucinations is a dangerous mental handicap – especially when such individuals hold positions in government.

Many believe that to win, it’s enough to side with Ukraine and oppose Russia. It’s enough to loudly condemn and denounce Russia in unison, and victory is just around the corner. Naturally, the mainstream media attempts to portray hope for victory and deceive the public for as long as possible.

What is astonishing, however, is how passionately people believe in Ukraine’s victory, as if this proves their moral purity and secures their path to paradise. They fail to understand that they are actually servants of evil and mouthpieces of violence. What happens when the day comes when the media is forced to admit that the Ukraine project has completely failed? Then what? Who will they blame? The bloodshed and destruction are already immense.

Why is there no deeper analysis of the goals Russia has clearly stated, such as demilitarization and denazification of its border areas? These are not territorial conquests, as the media often portrays. Russia is defending its borders, its people, its culture, and its resources. This cannot be said about the Estonian government, which seems to disregard its people’s security and well-being.

Considering NATO’s aggressive and hostile rhetoric, it is now clear that Russia will do everything necessary to clear the buffer zone (Baltics + Ukraine + Finland) of weapons and Russophobes – no matter how long it takes. The Ukrainian front is disintegrating, and desperate efforts are being made to launch the last remaining bombs towards Russia. For what purpose? What do they hope to achieve?

Russia no longer has any alternative but to completely destroy Ukraine because the rule of fools is the most dangerous kind of rule! In a war of attrition, Russia has never been defeated. It has enough resources, wisdom, and patience to thoroughly clear its buffer zone of weapons and Russophobes. How do people fail to see this?

Analyzing the strategic goals and resources of both sides, the Ukrainian “leaders” resemble the fools from the movie Men Don’t Cry, where they seriously discuss how to escape the island. The difference is that here we are dealing with a real war, not an entertaining movie.

In the current situation, a happy ending is, unfortunately, not on the horizon.
